We will have Iowa Workforce Development on site at the Union Hall on Friday, 6/21, to provide information to those affected by the upcoming layoffs. Separate meetings will be held for those taking voluntary layoffs and those being permanently laid off.

Meeting times are as follows:

Friday, 6/21

10:00 AM Voluntary group- Information will be provided around the process and rules for unemployment benefits. Many changes were made during legislation in 2022. It will be important that all members taking the voluntary layoff understand the requirements to maintain eligibility for unemployment, and by extension, SUB.

11:30 Permanent layoff group- Information will be provided around the process and rules for unemployment benefits, as well as resources to assist in finding employment.
