Take Action

SAY NO TO UNION BUSTING IN IOWA!

We are calling on everyone to take action on the union busting bill SSB3158 and contact your Iowa State Senator. The bill requires a union to go to court if the public employer fails to upload an employee list to the labor board for recertification purposes or the unit will be decertified. This proposal penalizes public sector unions for failing to take an action which is not within their control.

2024 Solidarity for Soldiers

Solidarity for Soldiers was established by USW Local 310L’s Next Generation Committee in 2015. It is our goal to bring together the labor community in Des Moines to help veterans who are homeless or at risk of being homeless.
