As most of you probably know, there was a shortage on SUB for the Labor Day week out, due to the holiday.

Congratulations to the winners in the special election held August 27 and 28. Mike Moranville won the election for Trustee, and Tim Linn won the election for Guide.

1) You should have filed an initial claim for the week out in August. If you did, it is best to continue to file weekly claims for the following two weeks.

We have put together a guide to help answer some of the frequently asked questions regarding filing for unemployment during the temporary plant shutdown. Please review as this will answer many of your questions. We have also set up a Signup Genius to sign up to use the computers in ICD to file for unemployment. Please sign up before coming to file for unemployment. Also, please direct your Sisters and Brothers with questions to this page. We will all work together in solidarity to get through this difficult time.

UPDATE 4/1/2020: The plant shutdown has been extended a week, scheduled for an April 13 staggered startup. The startup will follow the same schedule as before. We will post the updated schedule as soon as we receive it from the company.

The plant has provided us with the proposed manning for the upcoming new shifts. This is the most recent update as of 9/17/19, and subject to change. We have not yet been notified as to when this will take place. Click below to open.

Congratulations to all of our election winners and thank you to all that stepped up to run. Special thanks to our election committee who burned the midnight oil to count the votes and post the results. New officers and bargaining committee members will be sworn in at the May monthly membership meeting on May 20.
